I figure I would start my first post with my favorite doll from my childhood; Dawn. She was the perfect companion for a little girl. Only 6 1/2 inches tall and could fit in my pocket nicely. I was five when Topper closed it's doors forever, taking away my best friend. It wasn't until around 2001 when Checkerboard Toys started making Dawn again; but that too was short lived. Anyway, here is to Dawn and all of her friends that made my childhood what it was. I will be posting more about Dawn and her World...but for now; enjoy this retro commercial about Dawn.
